Vickers first traded in oil in 1828 and to this day remains a private, independent company.

Vickers first supplied lubricants for the marine industry in 1887.

In 1901 Vickers marketed a Sterntube seal in conjunction with “Neox” emulsifiable oil for the Sterntube.

Neox has been registered as a trademark for 100 years.

Vickers now manufacture and market a range of specialised
lubricants, with customers worldwide.
