Darchem has three divisions, two of which provide products and services primarily to meet the needs of customers for solutions to high temperature engineering problems. The third provides heat treatment services. Each comprises several business units to give focus and responsiveness to particular markets and customers. An independent unit, Darchem Flare provides testing to external "blue chip" customers as well as to the other Darchem business units, giving them an unrivalled ability to offer world class products.

 

The Insulation Systems Division is a world leader in lightweight thermal insulation for the aerospace and high performance automotive markets. It also supplies special insulation for use on nuclear power plants as well as passive fire protection systems using similar technology for nuclear and petrochemical installations.

 

The Turbine Structures Division supplies a range of precision components in stainless steel, titanium and high nickel alloys mainly for use on gas turbines in the air, on land and at sea. A particular speciality is high temperature exhaust systems. It is also a world leader in the supply of precision laser welded metallic honeycomb products for a wide range of uses.

 

Expert Heat Treatments Limited has four heat treatment plants in the U.K providing a comprehensive service to customers.
