[Q]nowledge is a MARIN (Maritime Research Institute Netherlands) subsidairy, founded together with Martin van Hees and Timo Verwoest, to market and supply the software program [Q]uaestor and provide service and support to [Q]uaestor-users.

Our core business is to provide tools, services and support for "technical" knowledge management. With the unique knowledge management system [Q]uaestor mathematical systems or Knowledge-based Computational Model Assembling-systems (KCMA-systems) can be implemented, managed and used.
In this way, existing knowledge very easily transforms into a knowledge-based system improving the engineering and design process and reducing the time-to-market for innovations.

[Q]nowledge employes three specialists providing over 10 years of experience and wide expertise on the development of technical knowledge-based systems. Our aim is to quickly develop into a solid company with talented and enthusiastic people specialised in a wide variety of knowledge management issues.

At the moment, our main focus is on the maritime industry. However without neglecting other market potential because our products and expertise can be used in any organisation in which use of technical knowledge plays a vital role.
